I've always discovered it intriguing just how many "pastors" believe their work is dragging weeds rather than raising Rice, but that's between them and the Master Gardener.

Who Are The Weeds? The weeds are those the enemy planted in God's subject, I suppose, to metal the water and fertilizer and to group out the Wheat. Weeds, like rice, develop everywhere, in church or out. I should state, this has been my experience that weeds grow most useful where there is a lot of fertilizer, like on church and denominational boards and staffs, or in politics in general. The fact is, there are as many weeds growing inside churches as outside, which explains why it's stupid to believe everybody likely to church is Christian, or even that Christians must attend church, instead of alternative methods of worshiping and offering God. Wherever you find Wheat, you will find weeds...Jesus claimed so.

What Should We Do About Them? Most of us who're supposed to be growing as Rice and raising Wheat have, alternatively, collection ourselves up because the Gardener, pulling up the weeds and damaging the Rice in the process. As Wheat, we have to marshal all our initiatives and energy at being the best Grain we can be. That means causing the weeds alone. The truth is, while the Old Testament says, we can't actually decide our own spirits, not to mention others. That's why Jesus said for people to remove the beam of timber from our personal eyes before we decide to try to remove the sawdust from some one else. We might think we're taking up a weed, but it's only an alternative kind of Wheat. We might really take a weed, but it absolutely was one Jesus was changing in to Wheat, like the girl found in adultery. Once we begin taking weeds, we have no idea just how much injury we can do to the Wheat. Leave it to the Gardener...only He knows the Grain from the buitenwiet.
